Miranda Glover (formerly Fellows) is the founder of White Chapel Somerset. The space combines her family home with a beautiful space for sharing art and ideas. 

 

Miranda has a versatile background as a creative professional with a dynamic career spanning the worlds of publishing, writing, digital communications, and the visual arts. Her work seamlessly bridges creativity and commerce, combining artistic curation with innovative marketing and storytelling.

Miranda began her career as the editor of Artist’s and Illustrator’s Magazine, where she developed her editorial voice and deepened her engagement with the art world.

 

She later honed her editorial and curatorial skills at Atlantis Art Gallery in Brick Lane, where she immersed herself in the vibrant world of contemporary visual arts. During her time at Atlantis, she curated notable shows featuring acclaimed artists such as Gillian Ayres and Hughie O'Donoghue, further establishing her reputation as a champion of artistic innovation. This period laid the foundation for her enduring passion for art and its power to inspire and provoke.

As an author, Miranda has written three acclaimed novels published by Random House, including Masterpiece, Soulmates, and Meanwhile Street. These works explore themes of identity, creativity, and human connection. Her editorial credits include Art Crazy Nation, The Borough Market Book, and JOhn Pilger: War Photography. Her experience as a storyteller extends beyond fiction, with a background as a book and magazine editor and content producer for renowned publishers such as Dorling Kindersley, Quarto Publishing, and 21 Publishing.

Transitioning into the digital realm, Miranda has carved out a reputation as a skilled digital communications consultant and commercial marketer. She has worked with leading digital agencies to craft compelling brand narratives, leveraging her expertise in storytelling and audience engagement to drive impactful campaigns.

Today, Miranda channels her diverse expertise into her roles as founder of White Chapel Somerset and Modern Originals. At White Chapel Somerset, she curates thought-provoking exhibitions that celebrate artistic innovation and accessibility. Modern Originals reflects her dedication to bringing 20th-century Modernist art to a wider audience, blending her curatorial acumen with a commitment to making rare and original works of art both affordable and attainable.

 

Miranda’s unique blend of experience—from editing and writing to digital consultancy and art curation—positions her as a creative leader with a rare ability to connect diverse audiences with meaningful cultural experiences. She is open to collaboration and welcomes ideas from artists and writers for future projects at Whitechapel Somerset.
