White Chapel Somerset is our home; a recently renovated Modernist chapel on the hill in Langport, Somerset. Founded in 2024, it is run by writer and curator Miranda Glover, with the support of her husband, modern art dealer Charles, and their children, art history graduate, Jessie and restoration builder, Fen. We’re all passionate collectors of affordable modern art and mid-century furniture and design. Together we source and sell affordable original, exceptional 20th Century art and objects. Some are by very famous artists and makers, others are rare and interesting finds by lesser known or unknown artists and designers that we just think are great. We curate shows from our collection, as well as with invited contemporary artists we love. We also host talks, suppers - and you, if you’d like to book to come and stay in one of our lovingly curated bedrooms. We’d be delighted to host you.
